The big 12 really laid an egg this bowl season. TTech was the only winner. TCU did beat Michigan but were certainly non competitive in the championship game. Herbstreit implied near the end of the game that the big 12 isn’t ready to play against the SEC. We didn’t look good in our bowl game and TCU didn’t look good tonight. So it is hard to argue the point. Of course when some of the best players in the country are going to the “elite” teams it is hard to compete. There isn’t a level playing field but I don’t have any idea in how to change it.

I realize it is early in his tenure, but if it was up to me, I would be working on re-working Tang's contract.

Beard, who was the 2019 Associated Press national coach of the year, signed a seven-year contract with UT in April 2021 for a flat salary of $5 million a year. His $35 million contract, which would have expired March 31, 2028, included the use of two dealership cars, 20 hours of personal use of a UT jet, a $250,000 one-time payment for his moving expenses from Lubbock and incentives up to $850,000 for winning the Big 12 and NCAA Tournament games. UT paid Texas Tech $4 million to buy out Beard's Red Raiders contract.

I think both polls have us too low since the other 3 power conference teams with 1 loss are all top 3. Our schedule and good wins compares fine with the teams a few places above us that have 2 or 3 losses. I’d put us in the 7-10 range right now.

How does the NCAA allow such a wild Court decor when they were so picky about our different colored uniforms? I’d sure hate to play on that distraction. Does anyone know how or why it is allowed. Kind of like the blue football field.

Is it just me, or do others have a super difficult time hearing the replies to questions posed by reporters? I can hear the reporters coughing (loud 'n clear) and the questions, but have the volume turned as high as it will go and end up holding the speaker to my ear to hear (or attempt to hear) replies. These videos are what I most look forward to, thank you for trying to remedy the situation. Go Cats!!!
