"Pole" from ABC News:

WASHINGTON — Former President Donald Trump may be in trouble with voters after his felony conviction last week, a new poll finds, as nearly half of Americans think he should drop out of the 2024 race.

A new ABC News/Ipsos poll conducted between May 31 and June 1 found that 49% of respondents think Trump should end his campaign as a result of the Manhattan jury's verdict. Some 37% said he shouldn’t drop out and 14% say they didn't know.

The former president was found guilty last Thursday on 34 counts of falsifying business records to conceal hush money payments made to porn star Stormy Daniels.

The poll also found that 50% of respondents think Trump’s guilty verdict in the hush money case was correct while 27% believe it was wrong. Another 23% said they “don’t know” if the verdict was correct or not.

BANG! Kentucky C Ugonna Onyenso commits to K-State

K-State has added to their roster for next season with the addition of Kentucky center Ugonna Onyenso. Onyenso was one of the best rim protectors last season, averaging 2.8 blocks per game last season. He also averaged 3.6 points and 4.8 rebounds per contest.

Onyenso will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Making sense of K-State's basketball transfer portal targets

For what it's worth, Onyenso is the only visit I know of. It's possible there's another one (they have brought players in on "secret" visits in the past), but Onyenso is the only one that I can confirm. I suspect Watkins could visit in the future, too

From KC Star-Big 12 revenue

The Big 12 will distribute $470 million in revenue, a record amount, the league announced on Friday. Big 12 commissioner Brett Yormark said the league’s 10 original members will see “some dilution” from their shares as the conference phased in newcomers Houston, Cincinnati, BYU and UCF. The new schools each received $18 million this year and are scheduled to receive $19 million next year. The league grows again in the upcoming school year with the addition of former Pac-12 schools Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado and Utah. Texas and Oklahoma will become SEC members in the next school year. All Big 12 schools will receive full shares from the conference starting in 2025-26, a figure that is expected to be around $50 million per school, according to CBSSports.com Last year, the Big 12 distributed $440 million to its 10 schools, which ranked the per-school distribution third among the power conferences, behind the Big Ten and SEC

Football: Two new official visitors for next weekend

There are some changes to the itinerary for K-State’s OVs next weekend:

-First, IMG Academy (Fla.) WR Adonis Moise is moving his official visit up to next weekend. He was originally set to visit on June 21.

Could be as minor as a scheduling fix, but K-State is in an excellent position for Moise. His recruitment is fairly quiet but I think K-State will get this over the finish line in due time.

-2025 DT Jackson Blackwell told me that he is visiting K-State next weekend. He was offered by the Wildcats just a few days ago, so there’s obviously enough interest to immediately set a visit.

Truthfully, I can’t tell you where the Cats stand in this recruitment. It’s shaping up to be a Big 12 battle for Blackwell, and K-State will be in the mix for him.
