Intel: A JUCO prospect to watch for basketball and football

Football and basketball are both in the mix for junior college prospects with immediate eligibility. Normally, I’d do two threads (one for each), but since they’re both JUCO guys, I’ll keep it to one thread.

BASKETBALL:
Had a few people mention that KSU is in the mix for Ellsworth (IA.) CC forward Mobi Ikegwuruka. Ikegwuruka was an NJCAA D2 All-American after averaging 19 points, 10 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks per game. He originally hails from Ireland.

Super athletic player who best projects as a slasher at the next level. He’ll have 3 years of eligibility remaining.

Tyler JC LB Kaden McMahan was offered by K-State yesterday and he’s planning to visit this week. He’s visiting Iowa State first, and it looks like it will come down to those two programs.

MBB: Transfer portal names to watch

First, there's someone on campus right now, but I can't quite confirm who that name is. I believe it's one of the first two names on this list, but it could be anyone, in theory.

Here are some names to watch for K-State in the portal, as Jerome Tang and his staff try and fill out their roster.

And, including names I hope K-State goes after, personally. Though, I don't know if there's been any real interest here:

Coaches in the 2026 class are unable to contact players directly — though, there are ways around this — but there’s a name to watch for K-State.

Alozie mentioned to our Rob Cassidy that he is planning on setting up a visit to K-State once coaches are officially allowed to contact him next month.
