think about that. The game was shortened and reduced to roughly 3 possessions per team per quarter.

12 possessions
Less: possession ending in TD
Less: possession ending in missed FG
Less: possessions ending in turnovers
Equals: 8 possessions

When you have a solid defense you are facing and you are solid running the ball and you hit your receivers in the hands and they drop balls. What do yo think 8 drops will do to so few possessions in a tight, shortened game.

It's pretty much silly to blame anyone but the wide receivers. Those guys are brutal and destroyed the hard work put in by everyone else on the team. Go ahead and call it a team loss or whatever. The fact remains these wide receivers screwed us when we needed them and this game is very important. This team could very well win the Big 12 and a so so SEC team we should have defeated by 21 will be the reason why the Big 12 still has a perception problem.
