I have sat on this information for years and finally decided to find out if anyone else is familiar.
I saw a video, which I cannot find, documenting how the Texas A&M - Kansas State and the UCLA - Miami games were fixed because the NCAA and Network did not want Miami and us in championship game
I do not subscribe this is true just wanting to know if anyone else had heard about this.
The video showed someone in the endzone, of our game, pointing what could have been a lazer type device. As the "lazer" light was revealed, simultaneously the the infamous Bishop 4th quarter fumble occured. The device was pointed at Bishop.
I don't remember about other things happening nor do I remember what was said about the other game.
To my knowledge Bishop never commented about anything so probably didn't happen.
