If K-State needs to beat Baylor next week or it becomes very questionable if Snyder gets 200 wins.
The CATS will beat ku, but TCU is playing better ball .... it will be tough to go on the road and get a victory.
Baylor has obviously been leaking oil. I'm hoping that OU plays very physically and beats the Bears down today. While the CATS are licking their paws and regrouping.
As I type, I would call the Baylor game 50/50. Hopefully I will feel even better after the OU - BU game today.
So if the CATS don't beat Baylor and cannot get it done against TCU, K-State better hope for a favorable bowl match-up for the Legend to record #200.

As for last week, obviously the pass defense is a problem. Granted, it didn't help to lose Shelley, maybe the damage wouldn't have been quite as bad (still bad, but maybe Shelley doesn't give up the long TD pass like Dozier... who knows).
I'm sure this topic has been discussed time and time again, but the CATS clearly should have went for it on 4th & 1. Get that first down and continue to march down field and the game is over.
The mistake reminded me of the K-State - TCU game a year ago. When there was little faith that K-State's defense could stop TCU. In those situations, you have to go for it on 4th down & 1, when you can't trust your defense.
And I still don't know why Jones was in the game in the 4th quarter, Barnes is obviously better (unless you have a pass play called, Jones should not be in the game during crunch time).
The truth of the matter, K-State could easily be 7 & 2 instead of 5 & 4... that's what stings the most.
Oh well, hopefully the CATS will regroup... who knows, maybe the CATS go on a 4 game win streak = 9 & 4 (or not).
GO STATE !
