We all know that the “no call” on the travel was the dagger, but K-State went cold from the 3 point line in the second half. K-State shot 7 of 21 from the 3pt line (33%), whereas ku shot 11 of 22 from the 3 point line (50%).
It sure looked like Dean Wade’s 3 point shot was going to drop ….son of a biscuit eater.
And had Iwundu hung on to the rebound, he could have put it back in with little time on the clock.
Of course DJ was on the bench for almost half the game (played 22 of 40 minutes). A couple of his fouls were ticky-tack at best.
It’s a good thing this game was played on Tuesday night. The CATS have an extra day to shake off the heart-breaking loss. The struggling Sooners come to town on Saturday.
Then the CATS have to go on the road to play what appears to be a pretty darn good Texas Tech team. In case you missed it, TT knocked off WV last night.
