We would have still lost BUT Klanderman got too exotic on 3rd down and criss/cross and swing passes killed us. They kept flipping the rb to Hughes side of the field...we had no defense for any of that. IF officiating was equal it would have been closer. I also think the Derrick Newton sad news led to some of this.
