Special Teams
- I'm amazed people even kickoff to us anymore. I'd boot it out of the endzone
- Happy Cantele is having some good kicking fortune again.
- I like Heath's aggression as a punt returner but he is going to get his bell rung one of these punts.
Offense
- Amazing how often our o lineman end up blocking their guys sideways. Whitehair really struggling today with his assignment.
- Very happy to Andre Davis having some success. And all of it was due to time in the pocket and good blocking
- Biggest hole we've made in the middle is where a pulling Whitehair comes in and pancakes his guy.
- Like the use of a bootleg/roll out with Hubener. Hope we do that more.
- Luke Hayes having a brutal game...
- Great pocket for Hubener for a solid catch by Burton
- The play calling astounds me this quarter. MANY attempts down field but part of that was 8 guys constantly in the box. Hubener reminds me a little of Klein on 3&1 where he gets his body sideways to make himself smaller but continues to push forward.
- Silmon fortunate with some good blocking. Gronk hits his guy and Whitehair takes out too. Some huge holes for him to run through.
- The line seems to make holes for Silmon that aren't there for Jones. Difference is Silmon just goes.
- Last drive of the quarter is what I expected us to do to start the game...running the ball.
Defense
- Jordan Willis continues to need work on not getting sucked to the inside as he get hurt with cutbacks.
- Starks is doing an admirable job in the nickel
- More rotating at DE today. Tanner Wood playing some. Only time we rotation at DT is on pash rush downs.
- McDaniel needs to start looking for the ball better or he will get called for more pass inference calls.
- hurry up offenses only work if you convert 3rd downs. Our defense did a good job getting off the field this quarter.
