TCU, OU, @ Texas, Baylor
I wish K-State played OU, TCU, & Baylor later in the season, but it is what it is.
Schedule advantages ?
TCU Game: Advantage K-State.
The CATS have a bye week after 3 non-con games before traveling to Stillwater (BTW, the POKES travel to Texas the week before hosting K-State).
TCU has a road game against TT (the Frogs and Red Raiders don't like each other) and the following week, TCU hosts Texas. Every big 12 team gets fired up to play Texas.
TCU could easily have a let down after playing TT & Texas in back-to-back weeks.
The game is in BSFS.
OU Game: Slight advantage K-State.
K-State will be coming off a physical game with TCU.
OU on the other hand plays the Red River Rivalry in Dallas the week before traveling to K-State.
The game is in BSFS
Texas Game: Big Advantage Texas
The Horns have a bye week after playing OU and before hosting the CATS.
K-State will be coming off back-to-back physical games with TCU & OU.
The game is in Austin.
But I have read that the CATS OWN Texas...ha.
Baylor Game: Slight Advantage K-State:
Both teams will have extra time off before playing a Thursday night game in BSFS.
K-State will be battled tested, whereas Baylor's most difficult test to date will have likely been West Virginia at home. I don't see a major advantage other than K-State will be at home on a Thursday night game.
