There have been 5 conference games that have changed the season and they all have quite a bit in common.

Had these games gone the other way, we would be 20-8 Overall and 9-6 in Conference. Huge difference.

Overtime Games

We've played 3 games decided in OT or 2OT this season.

First Conference game, WVU at home, we lost 87-83 in 2OT. Led for 29 minutes vs. 9 for WVU.
We shot 3-19 from 3 and Wes had 7 Turnovers

Next game was @Baylor, we lost 79-72 in 2OT. Led for 25 minutes vs. 16 for Baylor. Wes had 7 Turnovers.

Last OT game was @Oklahoma State, we lost 58-55 in just 1 OT. Wes had 5 Turnovers,

Summary, in 3 games and 5 Overtime periods, we lost by a total of 14 points and Wes had 19 Turnovers.

Texas Games

The other 2 games, the Texas games.

First one, @ Texas, we lost 60-57. We shot 3-19 from 3.

The return game at home against Texas, we lost 71-70. We shot 3-14 from 3.

Summary, we lost by a total of 4 points in two games where we shot 6-33 (18%) from 3.

Overall, 5 games, 5 Overtime periods, we lost by a total of 18 points. Had it been the other way around and we aren't looking at struggling to stay above .500, but are trying to secure a higher seed in the tourney.
