Good time to be a 'Cat fan. I don't think we have ever won a bowl game and an NCAA Tournament game in the same season. Historic year for the 'Cats.
Many fans were down on the football team when we started 3-3. Our OC and DC both needed to be fired and it was time for Snyder to retire. We ended the year with a bowl win over the SEC.
Almost everybody abandoned ship on the basketball team after getting drubbed by 30 by a bad OU team to fall to 6-10 in Big 12 play. The 'Cats responded by winning their last two regular season games, beating Baylor to advance to the Big Tournament Semifinals, making the NCAA Tournament, and beating an ACC team in the First Four.
Plenty of good times this season for those that have stood by their teams.
