  • UGA held on to beat an always-tough Oakland outfit; actually, the Dogs were gifted the game in a near empty Athens gym.
  • Angel did in the Nubs at Lincoln; it's still a joy watching the whirling dervish flailing about like a tornado in a hen house.
  • UNC took down Maryland and looked every bit the part of a top 10 program in so doing; a good lose for Cats.
  • Purdue is really, really good.
  • Does anyone even care about hoops this time of year; what does it matter now?
