Ive looked at that lead me to believe our defense can be pretty disruptive
Nevada isnt a good rushing team, I wouldnt even say they are an average rushing team. Obviously its by design and their style of play but it leads me to a more important point. I dont think their oline is really a huge strength overall. Allowed a hair over 2 sacks a game last year and had nearly 60 negative plays in 9 games. Both those numbers are pretty meh.
Strong is not a mobile QB whatsoever as well. Very much a pocket guy, may move around some, but there is zero threat of him remotely beating you with his legs.
It gives me some confidence that our defense can indeed hold their own against the greatest QB and offense of all time
I'll stick to my guns in saying that how well Howard can manage the game is what decides the winner in this contest
