I watched about an hour of big man practice this pm. Mak was not there and Murphy did not participate in contact drills due to a tweaked left arm. Had a sling yesterday but not today so nothing to be concerned about .
Both A Gordon and Joe Petrakis impressed me. Both are 6ft 9 and agile . Both have enough weight to compete. (205 to 210) .
They ran a lot of drills with mid range jumpers off the dribble and then bouncing back out to the wing to take a catch and shoot three .Both were making a high percentage of mid range and a decent percentage of threes considering they would run the drill til exhausted .
Dean Wade and Beasley are the only 6ft 8 to 9 guys I can remember at ksu who could shoot threes .
I only watched for an hour but I have some hope both of these guys can provide some outside shooting.
I would enjoy hearing from the staff after they get a chance to watch these two guys in practice .
Also, Petrakis shot 20 for 60 from three as a freshman at Dodge cc
