The Wildcats continued their winning ways by beating Creighton 6-2 this afternoon. After a quick 2-0 start by the BlueJays, the Wildcats held them scoreless for the rest of the ballgame. I was pleased to see the pitching get some confidence after a less than stellar series against Arkansas (Pine Bluff) this past weekend. K-State pitchers only allowed two hits after allowing three in the first.
K-State's continues to stay clicking as they wore down the Creighton pitchers with lengthy pitch counts and timely hitting. The two Jakes, Scudder and Wodtke helped give the Wildcats the lead with back to back hits and After being thwarting a few BlueJay threats in the middle innings, K-State finally blew the game open with a four run bottom of the 8th innning.
Hope some of you guys can make it out to the series with Wisconsin (Milwaukee) this weekend.
