Analysis from K-State's 102-53 victory over Florida Atlantic

102 points!!!!
For the first time since 2005 against Santa Clara, the K-State women reach the 100 point mark. the crowd was into it as the Cats got closer and it was fun to see those who braved the nasty weather be rewarded with an entertaining finish by the ladies.

Pace Setters
From the jump, K-State was not playing around with the Owls. Putting up 28 points in the first quarter of the contest and scoring 20 plus in the other three quarters as well. K-State didn't let up at any point in the game and for the second straight game they cause their opponent to not get in a groove. K-State will need this type of effort on the defensive end if they expect to finish in the top half of the Big 12 Conference

Efficient Night
When you're hot, you're hot. Four players in double figures and three more were a point or two away from joining the party. Breanna Lewis and Kindered Wesemann were both 7-9 from the field, Wesemann knocked down five threes on the night and even Antoinette Taylor chimed in with 14 points off then bench and added two threes.

Final Analysis
It was a fun win. The K-State women needed one of these, a nice relaxing win heading into finals week and with no game till this Saturday and a chance to build some momentum. I'm interested to see how they come back after this lengthy and busy (on court) layoff.
