I was recently discussing the topic on K-State football recruiting with a fellow Cat fan. We brought up how ISU, Iowa, and OSU seem to get a leg up on us consistently when we offer a kid who they all desire too.
Is it as simple as having more recruiters in those areas for our competition? Familiarity with those proven recruiters? Our coaches and their personal strategies on getting kids to buy in?
I understand we severely lack resources in it overall, but what would it take to make more of an imprint in this area of the program, at a minimum? 2 more actual proven guys? A whole staff?
