If you've been on social media, you've likely seen Avery Johnson's name thrown around as a potential entry when it opened today. In fact, I know schools have definitely tried to convince him to enter the portal as many schools believe that he would be the best QB in the transfer portal.
HOWEVER, the overwhelming belief is that Avery Johnson is going to remain in Kansas State, and is even helping recruit potential players to come to Kansas State. For whatever reason, I don't know why his name keeps getting thrown around as a rumor, but it's borderline nonsense.
