not what anyone wants so far due to a # of conditions. World baseball which has taken Hoz, Esky Duffy and 3 others out of camp. Hoz and Duff are doing well for the Am team while Esky and Perez were doing well for Venezuela, not sure about our catcher with Italy.
The Royals have been forced to play a lot of rookies in the absence of the above mentioned. So far Gordo, Merrifield, Moose have been doing very well. Karns the pitcher acquired for Dice, has been like watching a tooth pulling contest. The vendors will like him because he takes forever to throw a pitch when anyone gets on base.
Mondesi and Perez should be playing again so we can watch Mondi play second base and we know Salvy will catch. So outside of some relief pitching, it is difficult to tell who is doing the best.
One observation, Bonifacio is playing and hitting tons better than Solar. I hope Solar is just a slow starter. Any questions?
