Advice wanted on Senior Citizens keeping season football tickets?

Mom & Dad have had season football tickets since 1975. They have struggled with the long walk to their seats and getting home after night games. They announced at Christmas that they were not renewing them. I advised them to keep them and sell the seats. Just curious if anybody has suggestions on the best way to allocate individual games and if it was worth it as opposed to buying tickets for one game a season? Thanks in advance for suggestions and input.
