1) he needs to keep it in the family. When Bill called out Corey Sutton in the media many message Boarders chastised Bill and rightfully so. But the Family rules apply to the players as well.
2) Barnes is getting the bulk of the RB rushing attempts. I realize he has the best YPC, but Silmon has been around even longer, has done well, but his totes have declined. If anyone has a beef I'd say Silmon might have.
The fact is, in looking at the stats compiled from KSU Sports site for the period of 2015 to current , I realized what seems like a huge escalation in QB totes compared to RB carries while watching every game this year in reality is not. The disconcerting thing is the fact that thus far in'17 we are averaging 26% fewer rushing attempts PER GAME compared to the previous years, (years which most message boarders whined incessantly about Jones getting too many carries). The lack of running plays is not surprising at all evidenced by our inability to maintain Time of Possession, which needless to say is near and dear to Bill's heart.
Now as KSU players, coaches and fans, we have a chance to pound the Bird Coup Cellar-dwellers into submission this Saturday. We need to hand the ball to Barnes/Silmon/Warmack and #RealMcCoy and run it down their chikken beaks for about 500 yards. I really hope our kids come out with a focused, nasty attitude and Bill allows them to make it a big time rout.
