Alexander to Linebacker?

Has there been any chatter about sliding Jonathan Alexander up to Linebacker?
Sounds like he's just a quality depth piece at safety right now and might be able to work his way to meaningful snaps at LB even without an injury. Cmon people did you see that grade from @Matt Hall, we need to be creative here! :)

He's listed at 6'2"209 on the roster

He'd check the box of "rangy" that Hazelton has mentioned he looks for. Would he get run over? Probably. But hey, he should be able to cover the running back on a swing pass!
