...just absolutely disappears, to the point that he looks absolutely afraid to take a shot, down the stretch. Guy is a rebounding MACHINE, and he is a capable offensive player...but he wants nothing to do with the ball when the game is on the line. He just wants to get an offensive rebound and put back...will...not...shoot.
And he wasn't alone. OU's had four consecutive empty possessions to end the first OT (I think)...no one wanted to take the shot. They were almost all deferring to Heild, and he forced a couple. Finally, Woodard and Lattin re-engaged. But Spangler never did.
They will be better if he is not so one-dimensional.
Hate the way that game ended. Wanted to see OU get that last shot.
