when standing in line at the post office, I noticed the lady in front of me wearing a big diamond ring. She saw another lady further back and mentioned her husband was recovering from TJ surgery. I asked her if he was a baseball player and she replied, yes, Garret Richards of the padres. I replied that I was sure he was a pitcher and she agreed. She explained that they lived here in Chandler full time. That is about 50 miles from spring training padres hdqtrs. That is a miserable drive.
