For the six conference games played so far, we have averaged 5 pts and 5 rebs from the 5-spot. Almost all from Mawien and Stockard. ku (Azubuike) has averaged 12 pts and 7 rebs during his six conference games.
Mawien and Stockard each had 4 pts and 3 rebs in the OU game which was our best 5-spot production of the conf. season. It would seem that if they could push this combined production up to 10 pts and10 rebs a game, that should be enough? Especially with the other 4/5 stars we have.
Would think they will continue to improve, and, with just more aggressive play, they should be able to reach 10/10. If this happens, we could be really, really good.
