If coach was dead set on kicking the FG they should at least attempted to draw TCU offsides. Act like you are running a QB sneak and have a timeout if they don't. I was screaming to go for it. The vast majority of the stadium knew what was going to happen when they gave TCU the ball back with 1:47. There were so many things going against the defense at that point (depleted secondary, gave TCU good field position off kickoffs all day, giving the ball back to a heisman candidate and one of the best WRs in the conference). Feel bad for the players as they played their ass off but coaches played not to lose.
BTW...At some point can they please recruit a kicker who can at least get it close to the end zone on kickoffs?!?!
