Any TV repair people, or people who really know TV technology who can help me out?

[/IMG] I recently had to retire my 8 year old Panasonic Plasma. Now, I realize in full disclosure, that LCD TV's are inherently inferior to Plasma TV technology, but my Plasma was having problems and you can't purchase them anymore. So about 2 months ago I got a Samsung 65 inch JS8500 television. It is part of their SUHD line of TV's that is 4K, and capable of HDR, WCG, etc, a fairly high end TV. And I haven't been happy with it since I bought it. The TV from the box had these strange waves in the bottom, and what almost appeared to be creases in the screen across the bottom. Samsung quickly agreed to replace the screen, and as I was having a few other issues with the screen I just assumed a replacement would provide better results. But they came and replaced the screen last Friday... I ran a calibration video and with Smart LED on High (which my understanding is the highest setting of Local Dimming) on this TV this is what I'm seeing. Now the camera is amplifying some of the clouding and other issues, but this just doesn't look right to me. And Smart LED being off, or turning standard or High produces no visible difference to my naked eye in improved black levels. I sent these pictures to the TV repair technician and he contacted Samsung who responded the TV was "in spec" and fell within their tolerances. Holy hell.. really? This TV retailed originally for around $3,500 and I bought it on a good sale on Black Friday for $2,000.. but it's still $2,000. And this just doesn't look right to me.
