The guest, who is from Rockhurst and who's entire family are KU fans, says Cheick Diallo was involved in a big-time bidding war back when he finally decided on KU. The article is from three years ago. Cheick was ultimately found to be in violation of NCAA rules and suspended 5 games, but for substantially less money.
