Someone posted about the grey uni's for Saturday reminded me to post this thread.
While most of us agree there are a myriad of things wrong with our basketball program at the moment, but there doesn't seem to be much of anything that will change in the near future, i.e., Bruce is still our coach, Currie is still our AD, and what players we have are the players we have.
But for the love of all things good, at least fix our uniforms. I swear for being associated with Nike, we have the worst uniforms of any school that bears the swoosh logo. Our shorts look like clearance items off of Eastbay or swimming trunks from the 90s. Every other school has alternate uniforms that people question from time to time that still look better than our current uniforms. I almost feel as if we are secretly going to move to Adidas next season and Nike caught wind of it so they gave us the shaft with uniforms as a big middle finger to us for doing so.
It's not that hard. We have a killer logo with the Powercat and from what I think, great font for our lettering, but we somehow manage to screw that all up with our current uniforms.
Maybe we have to start winning first to get upgraded by Nike, hell I don't know. All I do know is we are already hard enough to watch, why make it a done deal by making our uniforms hard to look at to boot.
