McConnell on the Senate floor mocked Ds for campaigning against Republican voter fraud claims while remaining largely silent about the election fraud that took place in NC. The ironic thing is McConnell is essentially saying in his lie connecting Republican voter suppression proposals with NC, that the US needs stricter laws because if not, Republicans will cheat. It's a "protect us from us" claim. On that, I completely agree - Republicans will cheat if not hemmed in. That said, all the proposals from the right regarding voter fraud would not have stopped the election fraud of NC so there's a little problem with his logic and honesty, but admitting they cheat is a start.
At least he was being partially honest, which is a start
