I took my two young boys and they each took a buddy and I also had one of his dads go with me. My buddy is an Iowa guy and has never been to Manhattan or KSU before. I told him it would be the friendliest places he has been. From the parking lot attendant to everyone we passed in the hallways that represented KSU we were received with a Hello welcome to Kansas State is there anything we can do to help? We arrived about an hour before game and sat in GA right next to the student section in the third row. My kids were in heaven, the players flashed smiles while they were yelling at them warming up, along with the band and cheerleaders. About game time my buddy leans over and says this is the friendliest bunch of people.. The game was not what I wanted to see, but my kids were in hog heaven. They were on the dance cam and received a little ball thrown up in the crowd along with a t-shirt. The whole way home my buddy talked about the scoreboard, how many people were at the game for the time, and how nice everyone was. Even in the parking lot leaving people would let others in front... he was dumbfounded. What a great reflection on Kansas State. I am only able to go to one game a year if I am lucky and I am never disappointed!
