Took a sample from last years coaching carousel to get my head around how long it typically takes for a school to find a coach. This isn't perfect but I thought it was kind of interesting. We are currently @ 8 days since Bill's retirement press release. If I look at the sample it looks like Kent State and Tennessee (we all know that debacle 
) took by far the longest at 25 and 27 days respectively. Excluding those two situations the other vacancies lasted an average of 6.8 days with the longest being 11 days the shortest 4 days. I get it, there's a lot of caveats and nuance to this but I think it's fair to say subjectively that it should take about a week. We are at 8 days. TBH, probably not panic time but we knew this was coming and I'm personally disappointed that the back-channel agreements didn't lead to a smoother transition.
