I hadn't really paid much attention, but I did not know that Azubuike was 7 foot tall.
I thought he was more like 6'10"
Rather Mawien can play some defense on Azubuike is one of the keys to the game. Not shut him down, but keep him to 16 points or less Azubuike is averaging 13.9 ppg.
In Lawrence, particularly in the 1st half, Mawien got a couple of blocking fouls when Azu was backing into him. On the other end, Wade was getting bounced around = no foul.
One thing is for sure, K-State is going to need to shoot the ball better than they did yesterday.
