1) Deuce is so freaking good!
2) Great crowd. The stadium feels complete with the SEZ now done. We have a really nice stadium now, and one to be proud of.
3) Skylar was as good as I’ve seen him. Definitely got lucky on some poor throws/decisions, but overall was composed and really spun the ball well.
4) Today is what this offense can look like with competent QB play.
5) The LBs were SO bad. Green and Fletcher got caught up in traffic way too much. The zone schemes just owned those two in the 2nd half.
6) Landry Welker with his best game as a Cat. His biggest plays were when OU just decided to not cover him, but he made all kinds of plays.
7) Klieman coaching aggressively was nice to see.
8) I cannot stand Lincoln Riley, Spencer Rattler, and half the members of that program. About as unlikeable of a bunch as you can put together.
9) Didn’t read the game thread, but I’m going to go out on a limb people are predicting an 0-3 Big 12 start and what that means in terms of a losing streak for Klieman in Big 12 play. Don’t really care at this point. Our first 3 games are against 3 of the top 4 teams in the league. This season will likely be just like 2016. Get beat up early on with a heavily weighted schedule then make some hay in the back half when the schedule gets easier.
