Couple things:
1. Can anyone legitimately shed light on why this has taken so long? It was obvious to me, and many others, early in the year that he is our most talented back. He runs with power, balance, and vision. The play where he jumped the DB to get into the end zone is not something our other RBs have shown they can do. He's just better. If it's that obvious to us how the hell can our coaches have taken so long to get there? It's truly mind boggling.
2. I think his powerful aggressive running style will make our other plays better. With our improving O line and his powerful style, a defense has to honor him or they will be giving up chunk yardage. That makes play action and all the other stuff we do a lot more dangerous. Whether Ertz can take advantage of that is a different story. He had some good moments yesterday but also some really bad ones. He looked like a deer in headlights against the blitz. I also think he gives up scramble yardage because he doesn't step up in the pocket to scramble, it's always out to the side.
