after watching an Az. Fall league game today. The left handed pitchers were all throwing 98 at least. Years ago I asked Kite Thomas, who had played for the A`s in 1952 before they moved to KC in 55, how fast the average MLB pitcher threw. Kite told me, 85. That wouldn`t even get you signed today unless you were 15 and weighed 140 lbs. Of course you would also have to live in south america. My conclusion is, pitchers mound must move back at least 5 feet. Your thoughts!
