I never wish injury on a kid. Regardless of how much we may dislike or disrespect a certain fanbase or coach, the players are just college kids playing a game. I hate to see anyone get hurt.

It sucks that we won't get to see the backup play before they come to Manhattan. One of our biggest advantages (or at least, one we used to have) is our ability to be the most prepared team on a weekly basis. We spend so much time breaking down game film and studying tendencies that we usually know what to expect from someone. This backup has played only sparingly and usually only when the game is out of hand. We don't know what he's like when it really matters. In some ways, playing Baylor a week from Thurs will be like facing them in the first game of the year and you have little or no idea what to expect.
