1. Sounds like practices this week and last week have been pretty intense. The coaches have not been letting anything go and have some extra edge to them. Coleman, in particular, has been on the receivers to ensure that the performance in Nashville goes unreplicated.
2. Both Pringle and Dimel were rumored to be pretty banged up but it looks like those were both short-term things. Pringle specifically should be back to, or at least way closer to, his best abilities after the bye.
3. Silmon showcased again what he can do running the ball against Vandy. With that being said Barnes did not lose all of his talent. The guy is still a force to be reckoned with but needs to be used as a north-south runner not east-west like we saw last game. Bottom line is that this running back platoon just hasn't hit its stride yet but don't lose faith. I think this unit will prove to be one of the best if not the best part of this years team.
4. Even if coach said it's a possibility, don't look for Eli Walker at LB anytime soon. Yes, he is one of the hardest hitters on the team but he is too good at safety to move positions + Kstate's safeties already have their hands full with all of their responsibilities, adding another component to Eli's repertoire may very well happen but it will take time.
5. Finally, barring some unforeseen circumstances, Wyatt Hubert will RS. B source.
