Following up on the great interview with Coach Lowery, he said Weber was very intense in his early days at SIU and UI, but has mellowed some. One of my knocks of Bruce has been the noticeable decrease in team intensity compared to a Martin team. Which was still visible in his 1st season here. Does anyone know if Bruce's early team displayed that kind of grit and perhaps he has de-empasized it? Never watch those teams back then.
