9. David Beaty, Kansas (previously: not ranked): It doesn't seem fair to even have Beaty on this list. He's in only his second season at Kansas, which is to football success what wheat fields are to the state of Kansas. But the Jayhawks are 0-16 in the Big 12 on his watch, and even though this was a broken program long before Beaty arrived, the Jayhawks have lost five of their seven conference games this season by 20 points or more. The nonconference losses to Ohio and Memphis also didn't help. It may be that the Kansas football program is beyond repair. Unfortunately for coaches, though, they don't shut down programs. They fire coaches.
