both with Loudermilk decision today and in other threads about not keeping top Rivals ranked recruits in state for the Cats. Just took a quick look at some neighboring states and threw Wisconsin in there since they gained everyone's attention today to see what is happening with them as well.
Missouri (20 ranked) - #1 - Wisconsin, #2 - K-State, #3 - Nebraska, #5 - Alabama, #7 - Arkansas, #10 - Purdue, #12 and #14 - Nebraska ( Missouri - #4, #8, #17)
Nebraska (5 ranked) - #1 - Iowa, #2 - Arizona State, #3 - Nubbs, #4 - K-State, #5 - Wyoming
Iowa (5 ranked) - #1 - Nebraska, #2 - Arkansas, ( Iowa #3, #4 and #5)
Wisconsin (10 ranked) #1 - Michigan, #3 and #4 - Western Michigan, #5 - Syracuse, #7, #8 and #10 - Iowa ( Wisconsin - #2, #6 and #9)
realize this is a small sample size but top ranked players out of these states are choosing to depart their home state to play college football as well including all the #1 ranked players and 3 of the #2. perhaps these young men are interested in trying something new from where they grew-up, pretty common situation with many college kids who's families can afford out of state tuition
