This was touched on in another thread. Not only are Snyder & staff pretty good at uncovering some hidden gems in Kansas, they've had a number of under-valued recruits from neighboring states blossom into fantastic college football players. The overwhelming majority of standouts during Snyder's tenure have been from Kansas & Texas, but some noteworthy names in K-State football were found next door.
