The future is bright at QB.
That being said, unless we find a way to really infuse some talent into our WR corps, they are going to have a tough time throwing the football with any great success.
What is the answer here? Go after a couple of JUCO guys this offseason to give our QB next year (whoever that is) some extra options?
Maybe Heath can become a threat for us. I am not sure about anyone else. Zuber? I hear he is red shirting? I have heard some positive things about him but I am getting tired of hearing that so and so is really lighting it up on the practice squad and then it doesn't amount to a hill of beans on Saturday. I don't want to get my expectations up only to be let down.
Gronkowski is a Junior and could possibly be drafted after the season, but if he sticks around for a year, I wish we would find a way to make him a consistent part of the offense by lining him up as a TE or motioning him out as a WR.
I don't know, just thinking about some quick fixes to our WR's for next year and a QB that will have little to no experience playing college football.
