I'll state my case for discussion...

1. ACC's TV contract is similar $$$ to Big 12's.....despite including TV markets in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, New York, Mass., South Carolina & Virginia......strange to say the least.

2. Florida St. & Clemson are falling FAR behind their SEC counterparts in terms of TV money(as is the Big 12)

3. ACC is still a basketball centered Conference run by Tobacco Road....will never be FB centered like Big 12

4. ACC schools are coveted by the SEC & Big 10....SEC wants VT & NC State, Big 10 wants NC & Virginia

5. No Blueblood FB Schools in ACC apparently hurts it's TV money

6. A marriage of Florida & Texas in a FB Conference.....would/should be a win/win for everyone involved.

7. SEC will most likely NEVER add schools already in their footprint.....Big 10 has not interest either

Supposedly the Big 12 Expansion Consultants are looking at all types candidates for Expansion...Including other Power 5 schools that may be interested....if the money and fit is right.....I would expect those to be Arizona/Arizona St.,or Florida St., Miami, Clemson & Pitt.....among others.

The question is what would the TV contract look like for a Big 16 that had:

ACC Division

Florida State
Miami
Clemson
West Virginia
Pitt
Louisville
Georgia Tech
TCU

Big 8 Division

Texas
OU
Okie St.
Texas Tech
Baylor
KU
K-State
Iowa State

Would the money be enough to get FSU/Clemson to move........something to think about.
