Big 12 gives the Pac 12 a Central Time Zone exposure & two more Bluebloods......also would give an audience to a Big 12/Pac 12 network
Pac 12 gives Big 12 the population and the ego boost they apparently need.....also allows OU/Texas to stay in the same Conference.....& minimize travel
Conference too big? Who cares.....14 is already too big.....just figure out scheduling that makes sense.
1. Announce future merger of Big 12/Pac 12 as the 1st "Super Conference"
2. Announce the formation of a Big 12/Pac 12 Network
3. Go to Fox/ESPN/NBC/HULU/Netflix.....etc.......and sell the Network to the highest bidder
4. Spend the next 5 years figuring out scheduling....taking bids on the Championship Game.....and developing the network.
5. Lock in all the teams with a new GOR.....(if somebody wants to bail, this would be the time(West Virginia)
To me, this solves all of Texas/OU's problems without the ugliness of breaking up the Big 12.....also solves the PAC 12's exposure problem
