If the Big 12 could start the 16 school or larger 24 max SUPER conference who would you like to see in that Super Conference? In a 16 Team league it would be 8 teams per division or 4 teams per pod. In the 24 team conference it would be 4 divisions of six teams each or two divisions of 12 teams. Name the Conference, name the divisions and put the teams in the division.
Four Divisions:
East: Florida, S.Carolina, Georgia W. Virginia, Cincy* and Vandy
South: Mississippi, Miss St, Auburn, Alabama, Tennesee, Kentucky
Southwest: Texas, Texas A&M, Arkansas, TCU, LSU and Texas Tech
Plains: Kansas St, Kansas, Misery, Oklahoma, OK-State, Iowa State
*Because of Baylor getting booted from the conference we added Cincy for TV in Ohio/Big 10 country.
Each team plays their division (5 Games) They also play 2 other teams from each division (6 games) One game Rivalry Game and One random from each division. Equals 11 games. 12 with Semi/13 with Champ.
The winner of the division plays in a conference semifinal in either Cotton, Sugar, Peach Bowls. They rotate and which ever site doesn't get the semifinal game hosts the Championship Game.
Winner of the Championship game goes to the CFB, loser has a GREAT chance to get in. If playoff moves to 8 teams then Champ and Runner-up get 2 spots.
