Coach Rovelto is going all out to win the women's title. Instead of having Akela Jones in the heptathlon, she will be doing three individual (hurdles, LJ, and HJ) and the 4 x 100 and 4 x 400 relays. The first results are just in and our women went 2 - 6 in the hammer throw to pick up 11 points. If someone can split up Texas in the sprints, we have a chance to win the title. This is probably the deepest team we have had. Should score well in the SP, Discus, Javelin, High Jump (could score 3 or 4 people), LJ, TJ, Hurdles, Sprints (Mitchell), mid-distance (Gamble and Gaskin)m, and both relays. The only areas lacking are PV and distance races.
