is that they both believe that they are better than they truly are and they continue to take shots that should rightfully be taken by Dean Wade. I heard Mike DeCourcy say the other morning on the Border Patrol (when speaking about Kruger’s use of and freedom provided to Trae Young) that there’s a trend now to try to get everyone shots in college basketball and that he grew up in an era when the best player took most of the shots. That doesn’t happen anymore except that Kruger IS letting Trae Young take an extraordinarily high % of OUs shots. He was saying that this is what SHOULD be happening.
Well Dean Wade is our best mismatch and dare I say best player without a doubt. From my perspective, HCBW needs to grab Brown Stokes and maybe even Sneed and say, “lest there be any misunderstanding or confusion here, let me make one thing perfectly clear: Dean Wade is our best player and if he’s not touching the ball on every possession, you’re coming out of the game. In fact, if he hasn’t taken more shots than you, you’re coming out of the game. Can I make that any more clear to you!”
