Just some things I've found while trying to recap and understand this dreadful season:
- 17 losses is the 4th most in school history
- 30 combined losses in back to back seasons ranks Top 10 for consecutive season loss totals.
- Worst scoring average since 1982
- I'm assuming only K-State team to lose (IN REGULATION) when winning a game by 4 with 3.7 seconds left.
- First coach to lose back-to-back noncon home games since 80s.
- 8 losses first season, 13 losses second season, 17 losses third season. 4th season is ONLY his players.
- First team to lose to TCU in Big 12 tourney
- Only team besides Tech to lose twice to TCU in 1 Big 12 season
- Snapped 8 straight seasons of 20 wins.
- Snapped 8 straight seasons of postseason play (safe assumption)
- First losing season since 2002-2003
And these make it more frustrating and confusing to me:
- Back-to-back home wins vs. KU
- 8 Top 50 RPI wins
- Sweep of OU
We got Bruce'd. I like bullet points, no reason for me to expand.
